January 18, 2019 was Al Harlow night at Blue Frog Studios in White Rock British Columbia Canada! Al Harlow of Seeds of Time and Prism fame took to the stage and showed us what good old rock and roll was all about! Al, a singer, songwriter, and award winning musician has played with and toured with the greatest musicians in the land. He was on his game, and took fans back in time. It was a full house at Blue Frog, and it was a magical night of music. Watch for him at a venue near you! Great fun!
It was Pure Petty last night at Blue Frog Studios in White Rock British Columbia Canada. A salute to the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers rocked Blue Frog, enjoyed by audiences at the 2 sold out shows. The late show last night was streaming live around the world! A super tight band from Vancouver Island, fronted by Tom Petty lookalike/soundalike, Dave D. worked through an amazing set, with Art Van Volsen on drums, John Mang, Guitar, Keys and vocals, Lance Lapointe on bass, and an amazing performance on lead guitar by Richard Spencer. It was a high energy night of rock and roll!
It was a cold wintery night last night, but the David Vest band warmed up the crowd at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock British Columbia. It was an entertaining mix of Blues, Boogie Woogie, Rock and Roll and Soul. Vest, a veteran musician who was born in Alabama, and in the early days played road houses and honky tonks, now makes Victoria British Columbia home. He’s played on the bill with all the greats, from Big Joe Turner to Roy Orbison. He and his band featured a number songs from his soon to be released CD, and had the crowd singing along. David Vest is a past winner of the Maple Blues Award for piano/keyboard player of the year. Another great night at the Blue Frog!
The Authentics rocked a sold out house at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock last night! Six musicians with amazing credentials put on an incredible inaugural performance. The group consists of, Rocket Norton of the Rocket Norton Band, Seeds of Time, and Prism. Skip Prest of Sweeney Todd, Al Harlow of Seeds of Time and Prism, John Hall, Seeds of time and Prism, Ab Bryant of Chilliwack, and Ray Ayotte, percussion specialist and drum maker. 70’s era music like Roxy Roller and Spaceship Superstar brought back a lot of great memories.
