Jim Byrnes made his annual trip to the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock B.C. and again he sold out 3 nights in a nano second! Thursday, Friday and tonight. Adding to the shows this year was a Live Streaming of tonight’s show on the Blue Frog Facebook Page. And during the show we received messages from viewers all over the world. One of Jim’s friends was watching in Germany, and another, an old friend from Kindergarten days was on board! Jim, as usual, came with his satchel full of great stories, along with tunes that ranged from Chuck Berry, to Johnny Cash to Bob Dylan, and a whole lot of Blues in between! I had fun mc’ing the show again tonight, and getting to enjoy the music of an old friend.
It was quite a night last night, at the legendary Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. George Wong hosted the 5th Annual Magnum Projects High Calibre Realtor Gala. I was asked to MC the event, and act as quizmaster in a Trivia game. 400 Realtors attended the glitzy affair, and awards were given to the big producers of the past year. Models and information on upcoming Magnum projects were on display. Congratulations George, on a first class event.
What a great night last night! I was invited to MC the launch of an exciting project that will change the skyline of the city of Vancouver. It’s a world class condo project that offers limitless luxury. One Burrard Place, will soar 60 storeys into the sky at the north end of the Burrard Street Bridge. Imagine the views? Head to its website to have a look. (burrardplace.ca) Congratulations to The Jim Pattison Group, Magnum Projects and Reliance Properties on a spectacular property!
I was invited to MC the 12th Annual Stella Price Gala. Each year, Super Realtor, Stella Price hosts an elaborate Gala for all her customers. Last night, 500 folks partied into the night at the Pan Pacific Hotel’s elegant ballroom, the Crystal Pavilion! The guests were treated to luxurious prizes that included trips to Paris and Maui, a Rolex Submariner timepiece and more. The marvellous buffet stretched for what seemed like miles, and the party-goers danced to the music of The Moon Coin Dance Band. What a night! Simply the best!!
I’ll be mc’ing the Georgie Awards tomorrow night. A night set aside every year to honour the achievements by members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Canada. This year the awards ceremony takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver.
It was a great night for the Vancouver Regional Construction Association Awards night last night. I was the MC at the event, that brought together hundreds of construction industry members, and partner organizations. VRCS President, Fiona Famulak hosted the affair that was held in the beautiful new Vancouver Convention Centre. Attendees enjoyed a marvellous dinner, awards were given out, and there was lots of time to network. A wonderful night at a spectacular venue.
