Jim Byrnes and his band proved last night that Live Music Wasn’t Dead! Blue Frog Studios in White Rock B.C. was rocking in a “Socially Distancing” way as Jim played to an intimate crowd of 30 people practicing all the protocols put in place due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Chairs and tables were spaced 2 metres/6 feet apart and the guests were required to hand sanitize before entering the building. Due to the distancing rules, instead of a studio of 100 people, there was only room for a third of that. And what a treat it was for those fans. Truly, up close and personal! The first show was streamed live around the world. The Virtually Live concert was Jim’s idea, as he said he and the band just wanted to get back to playing music in front of an audience! Something that hasn’t been happening since the pandemic hit. It was the 3 concert in a series of 5 for Blue Frog. Still to come, The Kingpins on July 11th, and Ladies Sing the Blues on July 18th.
