I had the pleasure of Mc’ing another great concert last night, part of the TD Concerts For the Pier in White Rock B.C. 3,000 people attended on a perfect Summer night to enjoy the music of Babe Gurr who opened the concert, followed by Jim Byrnes. The show was sponsored by the White Rock BIA, the City of White Rock, and TD Canada Trust, as well as 107.7 Pulse FM, Edward Jones, Foster Martin Landmark Properties, Oceana PARC, and ReMax Colonial Pacific. It’s a free series of concerts, designed to promote business in White Rock and bring attention to the reconstruction of the White Rock Pier.
I had the chance to MC a special presentation for the White Rock Business Improvement Association today, held at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock B.C. It was to announce the lineup of bands performing at the 2017 TD Concerts by the Pier, happening this Summer. Outdoor concerts by the Pier by headliners, Chilliwack, Eagle Eyes, Led Zepagain, Little Destroyer and Platinum Blonde! And a street dance at Five Corners with the R&B All Stars. It’s going to be quite a Summer for music in White Rock!
