It was Bluegrass at the Blue Frog tonight, as John Reischman and the Jaybirds put on a first class show at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock B.C. John, along with Patrick Sauberon on guitar, Trisha Gagnon on bass, Nick Hornbuckle on banjo, and Greg Spatz on fiddle, played to a sold out crowd. It was a wonderful evening of music that left the crowd calling for more!! A great evening of music.
This is what retired TV types do…Lunch! Deb Hope and I decided to get together for lunch today. Talked about old times, yes, the good old days! Which is another thing retired folks do. Great to get caught up. And as you can see….she’s still looking great!!
After reviewing some of my posts, I realize it sounds like I’m always at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock! Well, that’s partially true. After the first time at the Blue Frog, I offered my services as mc to Kelly and Juanita if they should ever need it, and they took me up on it. I love live music, and that venue is acoustically perfect! Add to that the skills of Pat Glover, the sound engineer, and you’ve got yourself a winner! The intimate atmosphere of only 100 seats, adds to the experience. Sold out shows are the norm, and word around the music community is, the Blue Frog is the place to play!
High energy! Crowd on its feet! What a tribute! T.L. Douglas and company gave an amazing performance at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock B.C. tonight! A tribute to the great Carlos Santana…..something not many guitarists can pull off, but T.L. Douglas did! Backed by an amazing band, they blew the roof off the Blue Frog. They played all the great Santana hits, and the crowd loved every minute! If you see Supernatural at a venue near you, take it in…you won’t be disappointed!
