Off to mc the Jim Byrnes concert tonight at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock. Jim who is an award winning Bluesman, sold out 3 concerts in a heartbeat. It’s going to be a great night in the very intimate confines of the Blue Frog. The studio is a working sound studio, but is transformed into a concert hall, with of course, magnificent acoustics! Nothing beats live music.
I’ll be mc’ing the Georgie Awards tomorrow night. A night set aside every year to honour the achievements by members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Canada. This year the awards ceremony takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver.
Pleased to be back as mc/auctioneer tonight, at the “2nd Annual Ignite a Dream” fundraiser for the Surrey Firefighters’ Charitable Society. The event is held at the Semiahmoo Shopping Centre in South Surrey. Hundreds of guests will sample wine from 35 wineries and food from 17 restaurants. Funds raised go toward helping some of the city’s most resilient graduating students achieve their dreams of post secondary education.
