Just finished shooting a commercial for White Spot.  Hard to believe, but White Spot is now 85 years old!  A promotion is coming up with the return of the legendary Chicken Pickin’s.  Part of the old line up that included Chicken Dinner and Chicken in the Straw.  Great to be associated with the folks at White Spot.  I’ve been eating their Triple O’s for over 50 years!

I had a great time mc’ing the 2013 BOMA B.C. Awards at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver today.  BOMA B.C. is the voice of commercial real estate in B.C. and the members own, manage and lease commercial and government buildings and institutions in the province.  Other members of the association provide services to the industry.  It was another sellout luncheon, with a wonderful job done by the Waterfront Food and Beverage department.

It was another very successful year for the Teck Resources Celebrity Pie Throw! Over one million dollars was raised for B.C. Children’s Hospital. That money will be added to the funds raised by other Mining for Miracles events and presented to the Hospital Foundation at the Miracle weekend telethon, taking place on Global Television June 1st and 2nd. A big thanks to all the volunteers who made it all happen, and to Bill Henderson and Chilliwack for providing the entertainment.
