Mining for Miracles

I’m looking forward to hosting the annual Teck Resources Celebrity Pie Throw, Thursday May 2nd, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Members of B.C.’s mining industry get together to raise money for B.C. Children’s Hospital. It’s an annual event that started out as a fundraising idea by the staff at Teck Resources. It has now grown to include all the major mining companies in the province.
For photos of the event, and information about how the funds are raised, go to the Mining for Miracles website…. and click on Teck Pie Throw 2013. Since 1988 The Mining for Miracles group has raised over 20 Million dollars for B.C. Children’s Hospital. It’s a great way to spend your lunch break in downtown Vancouver. There’s food onsite, a raffle draw, and a whole lot of fun. I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve been the MC and play by play guy for the pie throw, but I wouldn’t miss it! If you’re in the downtown Vancouver area on May 2nd, drop by!

Miracle Weekend

I was thrilled to be asked by my friends at Global TV to co-host the B.C. Children’s Hospital Miracle Weekend Telethon this year. The Telethon takes place June 1st and 2nd on Global B.C. The hospital does such great work for the children and families of B.C. I hope you’ll tune in, and donate.

Looking forward to Big Gala!

Looking forward to be working with Cheryl Carline and the Burnaby Hospital Foundation, May 4th, as I MC the Diamonds in the Sky Gala. It’s going to be a great night of unique auction items, and all things diamond! Hope to see you there. It’s a major fundraiser for the Foundation, and if you’d like more information and tickets, go to the Foundations website.
